These are excellent heat stabiliser at high temperatures and also effective as a light stabiliser. At par with the requisite quality norms, these show excellent long-term protection on phthalate plasticised PVC compound which is to be subjected to ageing at elevated temperatures. Owing to their low reactivity with plasticizers, specially the polyester type, these are used in cable sheathing.
